We are most fortunate to visit, or live in, the unique and beautiful landscape of Cape Ann. This year we are once again sponsoring a photo contest to collect spectacular images of Thacher and Straitsmouth Islands. Along with photos of the iconic lighthouses, we welcome images showcasing the islands’ breathtaking landscapes, wildlife or still life.
Twelve winning photographs will be used to produce the TIA calendar for 2024 and will be featured on our website. In addition, we hope to display the top photos in a public space in Gloucester or Rockport.
You are invited to submit up to two images that reflect the beauty of Thacher and Straitsmouth Islands. Your high resolution images must be taken in landscape format, and be submitted by August 15, 2023.
All the details regarding image guidelines and how to submit your photographs are included in the Photo Contest Rules. Be sure to download and complete this Entry Form along with your photographs. No entry fee is required.
Winners will be notified in early September, and the calendars will be available in November. For more information, please contact photocontest@thacherisland.org.
