The Thacher Island Association presents the 2023 Sunset Lighthouse Cruise as our premier fundraiser of the year. Join us for a cruise aboard the Privateer IV, operated by 7 Seas Whale Watch. Enjoy a specially narrated tour of Cape Ann’s coast and its six historic lighthouses – all while supporting one of Cape Ann’s National Historic Landmarks!
Our Tuesday, July 11th (rain date of Thursday, July 13th) date is now sold out and we have added a second date of Tuesday, August 1st (rain date of Thursday, August 3rd).
We can’t guarantee a perfect sunset, but we can guarantee a wonderful time. BYO picnic dinner or purchase one on board.
The cruise departs from, and returns to, 7 Seas Whale Watch, 63 Rogers Street, Gloucester Harbor, 01930 and runs from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. You will be notified in advance if it becomes necessary, due to weather or sea conditions, to reschedule from the Tuesday date to the Thursday date.

Tickets are $60 each. Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the cruise date will receive a full refund of the ticket price.
