The Thacher Island Association presents 2022 Sunset Lighthouse Cruises as a fundraiser to restore the South Tower on Thacher Island. Cruise aboard the Privateer IV, operated by 7 Seas Whale Watch, and enjoy a specially narrated tour of Cape Ann’s coast and its six historic lighthouses – all while supporting one of Cape Ann’s National Historic Landmarks!
We can’t guarantee a perfect sunset, but we can guarantee a wonderful time. BYO picnic dinner or purchase one on board. Our two original cruise dates – Tuesday July 5, 2022 (with an alternate date of Thursday July 7th) and Tuesday August 2, 2022 (with an alternate date of Thursday August 4th) – are SOLD OUT!
The cruises depart from, and return to, 7 Seas Whale Watch, 63 Rogers Street, Gloucester Harbor, 01930 and run from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. You will be notified in advance if it becomes necessary, due to weather or sea conditions, to reschedule from the Tuesday date to the Thursday date.

Tickets are $50 each. Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the Tuesday cruise date will receive a full refund of the ticket price.
Based on popular demand, we have added two NEW cruises on Thursday, July 7th and Thursday, August 4th. Cancellation and and refund terms are a bit different from the original Tuesday cruises, so please read the details carefully. SOLD OUT!
