Description

OWN A PIECE OF HISTORY

This item was created by a master woodworker, and donated to us, using roof slate from the original Oil House on Straitsmouth which was built in 1905. It can be used as a cheeseboard or, if you prefer, a serving tray or a trivet. It measures 10″x 16″, has a cork bottom, a mahogany frame and weighs 8.8. pounds. The brass plaque reads “Straitsmouth Island Light, Rockport, MA”.
Proceeds of this item will go toward the South Tower Lantern Room preservation.
