The Thacher & Straitsmouth Islands boat launches will operate from June 3rd through August 26th in 2026, with trips to Thacher Island on Wednesday, Saturday and limited Tuesday mornings, and trips to Straitsmouth Island on alternate Tuesday mornings each month. Reservations are required for all passengers (including TSIA members using free tickets). Boat Cancellation Hotline – Call the Boat Cancellation Hotline at 978-546-500, ext 4BOAT (42628) after 6:15am on the morning of your trip. If trips are canceled due to weather or other circumstances, there will be a message saying “Boats canceled today (and the date)”. You will get a followup call later that day to reschedule or request a refund.
